Got to the hotel at about 4pm and fell asleep with Norman. Jamie and Shane got here a little before 6pm and Shane and I went out and got food at 630pm. We came back and the dogs played while we ate and talked till about 2am. Beanie is totally in love with Norman and cries when Norman leaves. Norman has been great. Slept in until about 11am had a protein shake and some yogurt. We are going to get an early dinner and head to the concert early. I'm sure traffic is going to be crazy. The gps is all programmed to get us there. I'm sure we'll be up late tonight too. I'm glad I brought all my winter clothes since it is clear and sunny and it got pretty cool last night. So I'm sure it's going to be cool at the concert, but there will be a lot of bodies there so that might keep things warmer.
I've been looking forward to this for a long time. I can't wait to go.

ReplyDeleteI was very happy we were able to talk with each other and share some hugs before you left, I hope it made things easier for you also.
After we left Brian&Holly's, Forrest and I went to the trail crossing that is on the road to their house and started south toward Mansfield Hollow. We walked all the way to the lake and sat on the big rock levee that where the tunnel goes thru where we go up the creek sometimes... I fell asleep there for a bit it was really nice. It was about a 5mi walk there then we took a slightly shorter route back. I rolled my ankle about 2 mi from the car on way back but not too badly so is sore today but can walk on it. Got wings for dinner (hunger didn't have lunch) then at 19:00 got a call from work and went to Middletown until 03:00 this am... so slept in a bit this morning. Band went really good, was fun and they want us back next year.
Just talked with you about Jacob message, but have not been able to contact him in any way yet. Suspect things ok but wondering.
Really glad you are having fun there.
