I'm glad your trip out to Sedona went really well.
Thanks for going to breakfast with me, I am sorry that it made the time we got to the airport a bit more stressful. I really didn't expect a crowd. I should know better.
It is weird how the times I get to the airport early, noone is there, then when for whatever reason I am a bit later then maybe I should be, the line is out the door!
Murphy strikes again!
Thanks for calling when you got there.
I wasn't sure if you would as I know you are trying to have a Sue experience.
I think it is really great you felt a bit strange about traveling alone but did so well.
Glad the connection worked out ok. That was the one part of setting it up that worried me, I knew it was a bit shorter then optimum, but since the flight was there on time or before and it sounds like you didn't have to walk too far it was probably a good thing not to have to sit around the airport.
I'm sure you are enjoying the nice weather! I hope it makes you feel a lot better... but maybe not too much cause then you wouldn't come home!
I bet it was really cool to drive by all the cacti on the way there.
Sounds like a cool town.
I hope you really get something out of your time there and come back feeling better.
Forrest, Norm and I had a really nice day here.
We went for a 9mi hike on the Mettabasset trail south of Durham.
It was a really nice loop. Parts of it just along flat trails thru the woods. Parts climbing up along a beautiful ridge with a great view to the north. Got some really nice foliage pictures. And parts of the trail winding up and down a series of not too high ridges. Interesting geology in that area!
I think Norman had a good time. He is crashed on my futon now but that is a good thing! He was still pretty bouncy when we got to the car so I don't think it bothered him too much. He got to talk to a bunch of people and a went up to say hi to a couple of little kids who really got a kick out of it! He is a great dog, I would never have picked this breed so it is cool to learn who much fun he is and hiking with him is like Forrest, I really rarely have to yell to him to stay around, he just does. And he is in some ways easier than Forrest because I don't have to hold him back from other dogs, he likes to see them.
I had a really nice walk.
I'm gonna miss you here this week but I really like that you are doing something that you think will help you get your head straight.
I hope it clears up some of the problems and issues about your mom and dad.
I think some of the issues with us are because of that and I really hope that it will improve things if you can disassociate me with the issues you feel with them.
Anyway... I hope you have a really great time!
